Taking our Partnership to the Next Level: Client Visits Our Offices in India

We’re always excited when our clients are able to make the trek to spend some time with us in our offices in India and the Philippines. Our friends at Stratice, an IT recruiting and consulting agency, recently spent a few days with the team in Hyderabad, India, taking in the city and the office culture and even provided a bit of hands-on training to the team they work with every day. There’s really something to be said for teams spending qualify time with each other in the same room, especially when the relationship has previously consisted strictly of email, chat and video conferencing.

Over the course of 4 days, Stratice provided some indispensable training and insight for their 247Hire counterparts, covering a number of topics including how to both improve offshore recruiters’ LinkedIn presence, and integrate better with their internal team to create a seamless talent acquisition strategy. The 247Hire team got to do a little bit of teaching as well, showing Stratice how we conduct our day-to-day operations and giving them an overview of our candidate search and sourcing processes.

But it wasn’t all business all the time. One of the best parts about trips like this is removing that digital barrier and connecting with each other one-on-one. Hyderabad is known for its amazing food, and much time was spent conversing over biryani and other authentic Hyderabadi dishes. Stratice made an effort to integrate themselves by wearing traditional garb.

While some of our team members have been working with Stratice for quite a while now, this was the first time they had the opportunity to sit down with one another and build a genuine rapport that is difficult to develop over the internet – sharing stories, photos of family members, aspirations, jokes and food. It’s these human connections and sharing and appreciating one another’s cultures that makes these trips so worthwhile to us and to clients like Stratice.

We’ve been working with Stratice for about two years now, providing them with offshore recruiting support to improve their process. This partnership has led to a variety of successes and continues to evolve. After these stellar few days, it’s clear that this partnership is stronger than ever.
