Frequently Asked Questions
The main difference between a sourcer and a recruiter is whether there is non-voice or voice communication with candidates. A sourcer is only sourcing resumes online and will only initiate email communication (non-voice communication) with a candidate at the client’s discretion. In addition to sourcing qualified candidates, a recruiter calls and pre-screens candidates (voice communication) for our clients by phone.
Our clients provide us with a detailed job description for each position, which we use to identify search terms for sourcing candidates for each specific role. The more details you provide on the role and your requirements, the more effective and efficient 247 will be. To help our clients gauge search activity and effectiveness, we provide detailed daily submission reports that show search strings, number of resumes sourced, names of candidates and the job boards used to source each candidate.
Yes, we are familiar with almost every ATS and can follow the same process as your in house team.
Sourcers can work up to five positions each day of a five-day work week. You can change the positions the sourcer works on every day. Therefore, sourcers may work on up to 25 positions per week.
You will be provided with a submission report at the end of each day which includes the details on all sourcing activities, such as the job board each candidate is sourced from, the number of candidate submissions and the names of candidates identified.
247 created a proprietary tool, SearchPath, to generate one powerful search across all the job boards we are licensed to access, which include:

To ensure our clients with responsive service and communication, our recruiters work shifts during North American business hours across all time zones.
We have stringent quality assurance procedures and tools in place to ensure the resumes we source match your requirements. Prior to submission, resumes are reviewed by a member of our quality assurance team to ensure they match the search you have provided. Additionally, your Engagement Manager will be in regular contact with you to check that you are satisfied with the quality of our work.
You will decide how far back you would like us to search and provide us with this information for each search request.
We provide you with the contact information the candidate has uploaded to job boards and/or social media sites. We utilize in-house, proprietary software to source email/phone data that is within the public domain and add it to candidate profiles prior to submitting them to you. However, email or phone data must be within the public domain for us to be able to provide it.
Our billing process is simple and flexible. We charge you at the end of each month, and you can cancel service anytime with a 15-day notice.
